Inbox Manager lets you look at the messages stored on your POP3 mail server without downloading them. It is very useful for managing your mail remotely, for example leaving "that copy of the huge document" on the server until you get home but retrieving and reading the urgent messages. For huge document (that possibly include attacments) you can retrieving a deal of message lines. During POP3 mail server connecting, Inbox Manager retrievs just the headers from the mail on the server and displaying a list of messages include Size, From, To, Subject and Time fields. Inbox Manager uses standard message store for incoming messages, you can use existing store as ActiveSync or your own store.
For using Inbox Manager you should have available Internet connection (GPRS, EDGE, WiFi, 3G/UMTS, EV-DO, EV-DV, etc.) To check mail for a specific account, you should select that account in the account's drop-down box of the main window and select "Account | Connect" menu or press red up & green down arrows botton.
If you are installing "Inbox Manager" for the first time, you will be prompted for a new account create. Enter a name for the account you want to create and click OK The Account Properties appears for which you need to enter setup information.
In the Mail Server edit box, type the full host name (or IP numeric address, e.g. 216.109.127.60) of the computer that runs your incoming e-mail server: mail.yahoo.com is an example.
User - Enter the name that you will use to log in to this e-mail account.
Password - Enter the password you use to access your mail server.
If you ever wish to change the settings of your e-mail account, you can do so from the Account Properties dialog. It is available from the "Account | Properties" menu option.
After list of messages appeared, using the check boxes, you can elect to do the following to each message: Read, Receive Delete. To perform actions select "Account | Perform" menu or press red up & green down arrows botton.
